On behalf of the LVA a warm welcome to everyone for this year's 2008 Bellrock Blues Festival.

2007 was a huge success; 'the town rocked' so lets make 2008's Festival a weekend to remember, some of your old favourites returning by popular demand and the introduction of new bands which should suit all tastes.

A special thanks to all the blues fans who sent emails recommending bands they had seen and heard throughout the length and breadth of Scotland, we took your advice,bands such as: Havanna Swing, Jim Murray, Blueshouse, State of Emergency, Roy Mette, Bluebelly and not forgetting Georgia Crawl; they will all be joining us in this years festival along with our loyal favourites. So! once again thanks for the recommendations. Check out their bio's or visit their website's, you will not be disappointed..........

For those of you who were looking forward to Gavin Doole performing in this years festival, I am afraid there is a bit of bad news. Gavin will not be performing due to a serious hand injury,therfore, we all wish him a speedy recovery and all the very best for the future.
